Message Groups

Message Groups allow many devices to share one message thread. Any supported device that is already verified with Aware Outdoors can participate, including devices from different manufacturers.

Start by creating a Message Group (the creator will be the administrator), then share the group sign up instructions with everybody that should join the group. Each group has its own email address and sign up PIN.

• Each user creates an Aware Outdoors account
• Each device must be verified so Aware Outdoors can communicate with it
• Each user must opt into the Message Group by sending one message with the PIN from their device to the group email address
• After that, each message sent to the group email address will be forwarded to all devices that have opted in

View the Message Groups you belong to and which you admin in your profile.
